Is Paramount Entertainment erasing Captain Kirk? The iconic William Shatner recently made the case on social media the answer is yes .
Why? Shatner says the character threatens the studio’s modern sensibilities.
A fan asked the 92 year old actor on whether Paramount Studios will reprise the role of Captain James T. Kirk .
“All you have to do is look at the Paramount+ graphics to answer that question,” he replied, with an image of Star Trek promotional material with current and classic characters, minus Captain Kirk.
Seriously, Paramount has a problem with having William Shatner in their promotions?William “Freaking” Shatner?ā
Perhaps it was an honest oversight leaving James Tiberius Kirkāout of these ads? I doubt it.
Woke madness is tyrannical in nature , therefore a legendary icon like the heroic, swashbuckling and very masculineāKirk is a threat to “modern” sensibilities.āAfter all wokeism, abhors traditional masculinity.
Traditional masculinity instills in men a hatred of bullies, no matter the nomenclature it hides itself under . Wokeism must constantly attack or censor masculinity as racist, sexist, or homophobic to prevent any man from gaining inspiration from it.
This includes the mission of erasing classic heroes of yesteryear from today’s pop culture consciousness. Shatner added “Itās not the first time itās been going on for years. It makes no difference to me that a group who think they are āenlightenedā (or whatever they think they are) obviously feels threatened by the Kirk character. Itās a character from a 1960ās TV show- get over it.”
Sorry , but every other captain in the franchise pales in comparison to the swagger and coolness of the intrepid Kirk. Fact: Without Shatner’s iconic portrayal of Captain Kirk the Star Trek franchise would not exist, and many fans agree.ā

I whole heartedly agree, this is a crying shame. Having grew up a military brat and being prior service myself. Not only has civilian society become effeminate but so has our U.S. military (i.e. stress cards in boot camp, drag queen recruitment ads and shows on our bases). Perhaps we (USA) will have to pay for it (suffer) in order to come back to reality, truth and one of the basic fundamentals of what made us a nation to be be reckoned with.
