Was it me or did Justice Roberts seem to rush things?

Roberts started the swearing in before Melania was in place with Bible and the family gathering together. I didn’t notice this when first viewing the ceremony with friends.
At least from this angle, it appears Trump, the 45th and now 47th President, never got a chance to place his left hand on the Bible.(hat tip the Conservative Treehouse)
As an aside, notice the contrast of Trump and family with the flag in the background, while the leftist cabal’s background is blank. I can hear Biden saying “A … picture speaks a thousand (mumbling illegibly)… you know the rest.”

I am so glad you said that. I thought the same exact thing but thought it was just me. I was thinking JD Vance swearing in took longer than President Trump’s did!
Dex, Thanks for sharing that perspective. I thought the same thing. How disrespectful of John Roberts to not allow President Trump to get into place with his family, and Melania holding his bible. His family wasn’t even allowed to get up to the podium to be a part of the ceremony either. They had to take their own initiative to walk up during the oath. But then again Roberts (I won’t even refer to him as “Chief Justice”) is a wolf in sheep’s clothing!
