What is it about the Democrat Party’s hatred of guns and the coddling of criminals? AB 1333, a dangerous 2nd Amendment attack proves this.

Assembly Bill 1333 could restrict private citizens’ ability to protect themselves and loved ones from violent criminals. California actually has in place the “no duty to retreat” rule which makes it easier to assert self-defense in court.
AB 1333 would severely hamper this legality ,calling for law-abiding citizens, protecting family and property, to retreat before using appropriate force . The bill protects the bad guys by criminalizing any actions of self defense on the part of victims.
Only in California.

Zbur has been backtracking lately, claiming he did not intend for the bill to infringe upon self defense rights and insisting the legislation would get further clarification. Keep in mind his verbal about-face comes after massive public backlash.

“Can you have stop and frisk on a criminal in the middle of them breaking in if they have a bat and I have a gun?” asked 8th District Assemblyman David Tangipa, a Republican in an interview with KMPH-TV.
“If that person has a bat, I almost have to allow them to hit me first to then prove that they had the intent to kill me,” Tangipa said, “and that is unacceptable. And not only that, it steps on our Second Amendment rights. If you can’t be safe in your own home, where can you flee to?”
Despite their protestations to the contrary, Democrats, like Zbur, have a reflexive disdain for the Second Amendment . Their proposals are always attempts to stack the deck against law-abiding citizens while making life easier for the criminal.
This is why voters must throw the Dems out of office at every opportunity. Liberal politicians swear an oath to defend the Constitution, but their actions are always the opposite of their words.
In fact, we should figure that whatever leftists claim they will uphold or defend, we should naturally assume the opposite.
For instance, if the libs say they will “defend”, then we must determine they really mean “attack”, “abandon” or “betray”. I say determine , not assume, because this is giving them the benefit of the doubt, which they no longer deserve.
For now Californians, contact your assemblyperson and urge their opposition to this bill, currently awaiting a hearing and consideration by committee. You can search for your assembly rep at this link, https://findyourrep.legislature.ca.gov

One reply on “AB 1333 a dangerous 2nd Amendment attack”
Dex,
Thanks very much for a great article on the 2nd amendment! California lawmakers are definitely intent on destroying any ability for its citizens to protect themselves from criminals, moreover the dangerous state and federal government. This is yet another reason why so many Californians are deciding to leave this once beautiful and safe state. It is too sad that we must fight every single day, our own Democrat representatives’ desires to force us into communism.
I for one, will never trust another person with a “D” next to their name.
