Tulsi Gabbard and Robert F Kennedy’s confirmation as the Director of National Intelligence and Sec. of Health and Human Services, respectively, was never in doubt, Imho. Democrats delayed the process because it’s all they have.
Attorney General Pam Bondi swore in Gabbard in her official role as DNI after President Donald Trump’s introduction.
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) is a position created by the Patriot Act after the 9-11 terrorist attack. On paper, the DNI serves as the head of the 18 intelligence agencies and serves as a principal advisor to the President.
Historically, Democrat Presidents have had little use for the department. President Barack Obama, in his effort to weaponize intelligence agencies for his purposes, appointed the clueless idiot James Clapper as a figurehead.
President Trump’s first DNI, Dan Coats, was aDeepState asset, who tried to undermine Trump at every turn. Richard Grenell, and later John Ratcliffe who is now the head of the CIA, took Coats’ place. Both Grenell and Ratcliffe spent their time protecting Trump from the Deep State loyalists in the various intelligence agencies trying to sandbag his policies.
Avril Haines served as Biden’s DNI. Never heard of her until researching this post. Haines (of course) made history as the first woman appointed to the role (whatever).
Other than her confirmation process, Haines’ press is sparse. I think it’s safe to assume she was just another cog in the incompetent machine that was the Biden Administration.
Gabbard has the opportunity to carry out the duties of the DNI as originally intended by the Patriot Act. I’m thinking under Trump this will be the case.
Like Gabbard, RFK Jr. endured a bruising confirmation process. He will be the first Health and Human Services Secretary not a sycophant of Big Pharma as he takes over for Biden HHS Sec. Dr. Rachel Levine (the less said about the this doctor, the better).
Kennedy, a proponent of vaccines , is nonetheless skeptical of the ages of when children should first have the jabs. He believes objective research should truthfully reveal any and all side effects of vaccines and other medications.
Democrats continue to slander Kennedy as staunchly anti-vax which is a blatant lie.
RFK, Jr resonates with Trump supporters because he dares ask why are more Americans chronically ill and why has childhood autism risen exponentially? Making American Healthy Again (MAHA) is his mission.

BTW, what do Gabbard, RFK, Jr and Pete Hegeseth all have in common? Republican Mitch McConnell voted against all of them.
I’m thinking we can add Kash Patel and Linda McMahon to that list when they are finally confirmed to FBI Director and United States Education Secretary. This will occur after Democrats can no longer drag out the confirmation process and without McConnell’s vote.
