President Donald Trump wins the Iowa Caucus…. by landslide As of this writing Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley are battling for second place: a very distant second place.
Trump won 98 of 99 counties in Iowa in the first vote of the 2024 Presidential campaign; not only crushing the competition, but causing Vivek Ramaswamy to suspend his campaign. Ramaswamy will throw his support behind Trump.
President Trump spoke to the crowd after the victory:
The question now is with Trump’s margin of victory, why is there even a race for second place? Wouldn’t it make sense for the candidates and the Republican National Committee to consolidate resources behind the obvious frontrunner? These are questions the voters are asking and the RNC is pretending to ignore.
On to New Hampshire…

Everyone knew President Trump would easily win in Iowa and it was great to see it solidified. Yes, it would be awesome if the others would get behind him like Vivek did.
Dex,
The answer to the question as to why the RNC doesn’t throw all their support behind Trump is because not all Republicans are conservative, as they should be. The RINOs are a cancer to the Grand ole’ Party just as the useful idiots are a cancer to the Donkey’s as well as the entire country. When Americans forget what it is to be an American, i.e. they don’t pay attention to what’s going on anymore, they are just ‘blobs of mud”! Just as Mark Twain wrote about in his story the jumping frog, they are now held down by their stupidity/ignorance like lead shot. Let’s pray we have a political as well as spiritual awakening in this country before it is lost!
Well said.
