The joke that is journalism

You know, when watching media coverage of Trump’s “bloodbath” comment, I couldn’t help thinking, wow! This is the joke that is journalism.

All the anchors–pancake makeup, well-coiffed hair, and melodramatic, delivery — all reporting the exact same narrative/ lie.

To recap, at a recent campaign rally, Trump warned of a bloodbath for the American auto industry if he is not re-elected to protect against China’s incursions into the EV market.

The fake news conveniently omitted the context of the auto industry in its initial coverage:

When the media discovered the public wasn’t falling for the schtick, it fell back to the old trope of “Tonight, Trump under fire for controversial comments..” ABC not only ran with this tact, but took the opportunity to work in the media’s J6 narrative for good measure. Watch:

It seems the news outlets got the 4 am fax over the style of coverage of Trump. You know: the template that he’s the greatest danger to American democracy.

Remember what a danger this guy was? Trump rebuilt our military, made us energy independent, gave us a roaring economy, defended the unborn, built most of the border wall, kept us out of war, made inroads with North Korea, got us out of Afghanistan, brought manufacturing back to America, slapped the Chi-coms with import tariffs, removed us from the Paris Climate accords, and even took away the shame of saying Merry Christmas, just to name a few of his many accomplishments.

The press ignores all the good Trump did for the country just so they can continue to gaslight people into hating him. “Stop bad Orange Man!” is the prevailing mainstream mission.

Therefore, no questioning the timing of these court cases against Trump during an election year. Election interference? Nothing to see here.

Black Lives Matter and Antifa burned buildings and killed people during the summer of love, and the media called it peaceful protest. Americans protest the 2020 election in Washington D.C., and the media, along with the Uniparty, demonizes them as insurrectionists.

The fake news image is that of the proverbial trio of monkey’s seeing, speaking and hearing no evil when it comes to parroting the Democrat and corporate narrative.

A press that cannot maintain objectivity becomes, merely, a propaganda arm for tyranny. This is inevitable when the press are subsidiaries of major corporations.

Corporations exist to make their shareholders money, which involves lobbying government. Considering this reality, how can an independent press exist when it’s coverage is so influenced by the bottom line?

So what’s the solution? You’re seeing it in the alternative media. These are the real journalists serving the public and exposing the truth. These enterprising men and women are not beholden to corporate interests, only the people.

And that’s what has D.C. freaked out right now. With these purely independent entities, they can’t control the narrative.

Officials used to be able say any lie or distortion on camera, and it would be months or years before the truth came out. Now this debunking takes place in a matter of hours, thanks to citizen media.

I think citizen-media is a more a apt description than alternative media. Perhaps journalism is better served, and more effective when practiced by persons who are on the receiving end of government policy.

Can the mainstream media re-establish itself as an objective source of information? I don’t believe so. As long as the alphabet networks and the major publications are under the corporate umbrella, there is no possible way a journalist could practice total objectivity without risk of losing their job.

So this is the joke that is journalism. The punchline is more citizen reporters needed.

Dex,
Journalism in America, as you have reported, truly is a joke! I’m currently returning from an extended visit to the country of Vietnam.
While in Hanoi I was able to visit the infamous Hoa Lo prison (Hanoi Hilton) where our brave pilots and fighting men were brutally tortured and abused for years under a communist regime that continues to lie to it’s citizens.
They tell about the “humane and lenient” treatment of the people of Vietnam upon the “air pirates” that attacked their so called “peaceful” society.
What they ommit is the years of abuse and terrible lies they were able to extract via force from these heroes that fought for freedom.
While going through the many souvenir shops on the trip I noticed the monkey statues that are a symbol of the buddhist religion that composes approximately 86% of a very spiritual society. There is now a fourth monkey, “sleap well”.
How the liberal traitors to our great country (American media) can sleep after all their lies, boggles my mind!
Oh but the people we met on the street…..the shop owners, cab drivers, hotel workers etc… are not fooled.
These industrious hard working people, many who still remember the atrocities of the communists, know the truth. They see the lies, the deceit, yeah the “comedy” of the Vietnam communist party media. Almost entirely they ask one question….will Donald Trump return as president of the USA? (Yes they love him too)
When will truth be restored to the American people and therefore the world?
Perhaps then we will be able to hear the truth, see the truth, speak the truth and yet again sleap well knowing we are not being LIED TO CONSTANTLY!
