Congratulations, we broke the woke. On Election Day 2024, you, me and more than half of America said no more to woke politics.

We first started the death by a thousand cuts by refusing to support their propaganda spewing movies and tv shows where their message had the subtlety of breaking wind. Then, we drove a stake in the heart of this Marxist ideology with the re-election of President Donald Trump.

I’m no prophet, just a concerned patriot typing out these columns on a laptop in his kitchen, but yours truly predicted the beginning of the end of wokeness in this column from January 28, 2023:

You can try to force woke politics down people throats as entertainment, but the public will always speak with their wallets. Threats, fear and intimidation can only get your message so far. After a while people may pay lipservice to get you off their backs, but they will find ways to throw sand in the cogs.

Fear not. For all of its bombast, wokeism will soon be thrown into the ashheap of history as with all Marxist schemes to divide and weaken America.

November 5, 2024 will go down as the election where America said “enough!” Trump’s election broke the the legacy mockingbird media and broke Hollywood. Both came to the shocking realization no one is listening to them anymore.

MSNBC, the tip of spear of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS), finds its future and branding in limbo, with its parent corporation , Comcast threatening to spin off this cable network into a new company. With all this, the network’s anchors are negotiating pay cuts. .

That’s right, pay cuts ,not pay raises.

Rachel Maddow, the face of MSNBC, is reported to have agreed to reduce her $3o million a year salary and now MSNBC is in the process of trimming the salaries of biased hosts Joy Reid and Stephanie Ruhle.

Plummeting ratings mean reduced revenues. That’s capitalism 101 liberals. It means why should the networks pay outlandish salaries if the personalities lose their audiences?

MSNBC has lost more than half its viewers since election night November 5, hemorrhaging 55 percent of its primetime audience. CNN has experienced a 47 percent drop.

You know why this happening, mockingbird media? It’s because you lie. You lie about everything, you even tell the public that what they see with their own eyes and hear with their own ears are wrong (gaslighting).

You are nothing but the propaganda arm for the Uniparty, DIABLO’s and Democrats. A DIABLO (Hat tip : Mark Steyn) is a , Democrat In All But Label Only and describes turncoat Republicans more accurately than RINO (Republican in Name Only).

The victories continue during this holiday season. In an interview with CNN, Joe Manchin (D-WV) has properly labeled the Democrat Party as “toxic” and unrepresentative of the values of the American people.

Like most self-serving hacks , Senator Manchin speaks the truth on his way out where his power is unaffected. Never forget, this guy voted with his party over 90 percent of the time.

The Biden Administration has tossed out the proposed Title IX transgender sports rule. The administration has ditched plans to prohibit states from banning transgendered women (biological men ) from participating in women’s sports. According to published reports, the Department of Education has announced it has withdrawn the proposed rule in the Federal Register. Read more about this here.

This news is in addition to major companies scrapping their DEI programs such as Toyota, Walmart , John Deere and Harley-Davidson. Walmart recently announced, according to Newsweek,

“… it plans to stop using the terms “LatinX” and “DEI” in official communications, won’t continue the Racial Equity Center it founded in 2020 and will ban any sexualized or transgender products marketed toward children.“

This is yuuge folks. Sanity is gradually being restored before our very eyes.

However, let’s be clear, just because the left is severely weakened right now, doesn’t mean these Marxists no longer pose a danger to America.

These godless radicals will merely watch and wait for any opportunity to exploit. Never ever forget, leftists are always scheming, plotting and patiently awaiting any opportunity to divide Americans against each other.

Let’s not fool ourselves. Those in the elite upper echelons of globalists are clever and evil people. God-fearing Americans must remain ever vigilant to their machinations if we hope to turn this country back from darkness to light.

To my Christian brothers and sisters, that means daily reading and studying of Scripture and constant prayer. We must be the light on a hill and the watchmen from the tower warning of danger. Christians can only tell the truth when they know the truth.

Let us bask in our victory for now. Again, congratulations, we broke the woke, but now the real work begins.

In, but not of the world

Are there are occasions following politics where you forget that as a Christian, you are in , but not of the world (John 15:18-19)? This is especially important to recall during this Christmas season where we celebrate the miraculous birth of Christ.

Like our Lord and Savior , Jesus, We are sojourners in this temporal world . Yet because of Jesus’ virgin birth, life, and later His death and resurrection , our minds and spirits are also fixed on eternity (Colossians 3:2).

Do we have concerns about the present and all the worries that come from witnessing lies, evil and tyranny? You bet we do.

However, as children of God these concerns do not overwhelm or bring fear into our hearts for very long. For Jesus’ coming to the world gave us life abundantly( John 10:10). He did so by setting us free from the snares of sin and secondarily, this fallen world .

In Him, and through His love, we are new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17), set apart to do good works for God’s will and purposes (Ephesians 2:10). The old nature, fixed only on temporal lusts and temptations, is dead and what Christ has resurrected, stands.

Jesus is truly the reason for the season, the Christ -Mas(s). Let’s give praise and thanks to Him for transforming us from wicked sinners, worthy of death, to God-fearing men and women seeking His heart and will for our lives. This is truth.

God’s truth feeds and strengthens us, while His purpose guides our paths. What can man do to us (Psalm 118:6) ? For God uses every trial and tribulation for the Christian’s greater good (Romans 8:28).

This means blessing in every way, shape, and form. God’s sovereign plan for our lives means even what is meant for evil against us is turned into good (Genesis 50:20).

No weapon forged against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) because we are in , but not of the world. Our home is a new heaven and earth (Revelation 21), living forever with the Father and the Son.

The Creator of the heavens and earth , is the master craftsman, preparing those who love His Son, for eternity. For God is making us more like Jesus which each day that passes. Truly, He who has began a good work in us will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6).

Tasked also in this effort is the Holy Spirit , who counsels and intercedes for us constantly. Even when all we have is groans , the Spirit speaks to God on our behalf (Romans 8:26-27).

The Spirit speaks powerfully to us through God’s Word and conversely the Word’s power is only made manifest to us through the Holy Spirit. Only when both are prevalent in our daily walk will we truly be able to stand fast in God, no matter the circumstances.

When the Christian has both of these engines firing, the Word and the Spirit, l0ok out! Through God’s mighty power, you will be able to accomplish what was formerly unthinkable in your former sinful and dead nature.

Don’t you realize God is calling you? He has given each one of us unique spiritual gifts ( Ephesians 4:7-16) to carry out “missions” tailored for these talents.

This is not for us to puff out our chests in pride (Romans 12:3-8); knowing this should humble us. God is not a respecter of persons (Romans 2:11-16), therefore , do not become conceited and certainly, do not elevate men, even pastors and presidents as better or smarter than you.

Do you know God’s calling on your life, or are you floundering? Ask through diligent prayer and study, for that is our communication with our eternal Heavenly Father.

And speaking of prayers how do you pray to your Father? Do rote, memorized supplications comprise your communication or do you seek Him with raw, vulnerable petitions?

Obviously God hears all of our prayers , but He desires intimacy with us. Our Heavenly Father wants us to love Him with all of heart, soul, mind and strength (Matt.22:37, Mark 12:30, Luke 10;27).

God already knows our every thought and feeling before we pray, for He is omniscient and omnipresent. He just wants us to get it.

Intimacy requires vulnerability and humility, which are considered weakness in the world. However, both are strengths in God’s eyes because it is in those traits we truly experience His power.

This Christmas , let us remember God’s loving gift to mankind, His only begotten Son, Jesus. Let us also never forget that because of Christ, we are in, but not of the world.

Happy MAGA Holidays! Kinda has a nice ring to it, huh?

Wasn’t this the best Thanksgiving in the last four years? For the first time in long time , there was something to be thankful about: Donald Trump’s re-election.

I’ve talked to lots of fellow conservatives since November 5 and the response has been the same: It feels like a tremendous weight has been lifted from our shoulders and we can breathe again.

The last time a presidential election felt this good was 2016. Remember how you felt when Trump’s win over Hillary Clinton, signaled the end of President Barack Obama’s divisive reign?

Now, we see a light at the end of the tunnel, an end to the nightmare that has been the Joe Biden/ Kamala Harris Administration : a creepy , senile corruptocrat and a cackling half-wit. Without a doubt, the worst presidency in this nation’s history.

The worst presidents and vice-presidents in US history?

What is it about inept and oppressive leaders that figuratively suck the life out of you? Obama certainly had that draining quality to people, who never fell for the media siren call to swoon over the first black president, but Biden/Harris took that talent to the next level.

Trump’s winning of the electoral college and the popular vote gobsmacked the left. Seriously, these narcissists are still in tatters trying to figure out what went wrong.

Of course, it’s nothing they’ve done, what with woke or DEI. The problem is you for believing all that misinformation and disinformation disparaging the economy and manufacturing the border crisis.

The Democrat Party has become so delusional they are unable to see most Americans are no longer susceptible to their lies. And what does the left lie about in this country? Everything!

They not only lie to us, they lie to themselves. In fact they have fibbed, fabricated and libeled so much, they believe their falsehoods as truth.

The Democrats’ cognitive dissonance has become their undoing. They see the evidence of their failed policies but are so psychologically invested that to admit the truth to themselves would be devastating.

I could go on with this, but I think you get the idea. For now let’s enjoy God’s gift to us of a massive and glorious leftist meltdown. Let us pray to God this destructive and godless party is out of power for at least the next three generations.

In the meantime, America looks forward to a MAGA Christmas, where Jesus Christ reigns supreme, and a MAGA New Year where optimism returns. Happy MAGA holidays!

A total and complete Trump victory

We need to praise God for blessing America with a total and compete Trump victory. MAGA not only triumphed, but voters also repudiated woke insanity, DEI, the propaganda media, and lawfare.

A total and complete victory means taking away your enemies’ ability to battle in the short or long term. In this case, not only is Trump projected to win the electoral college, he is winning the popular vote.

Why is this important?

Winning the popular vote takes away a critical tagline of undermining a Republican victory , i.e. ” He may have won the popular vote, but the people aren’t behind him.” Now, a majority of the people are behind Trump and have given him a clear-cut mandate.

But wait , there’s more! Democrats not only lost the presidency, the Republicans have retaken the Senate and are expected to expand their majority in the House.

If this wasn’t bad enough, Republicans have the majority of governorships and state legislatures after the political bloodbath of the 2024 Election. How ironic, that “bloodbath,” a term Dems tried to use to accuse Trump of inciting violence, has come to symbolize their demoralizing defeat.

The voters just aren’t that into you Dems. They’ve had enough of your party destroying this country through subverting the present, attempting to erase history and darkening our future.

And now, more people feel it is safe to question your narratives. For instance, more Americans are wondering what happened to the 16 million votes for Joe Biden in 2020?

This graph shows Democrat turnout fairly consistent 2012, 2016 and 2024. However, 2020 shows an anomalous spike ; a total deviation. What happened to those 16 million voters and why did those numbers disappear for Kamala? Those votes certainly did not go to Trump, whose numbers were less than 2020.

CNN inadvertently added to the question of those missing voters when John King revealed to a stunned Jake Tapper, Kamala’s underperformance to Biden.

The more Americans who see the previous graph , the more who will wake up and question the legacy media’s version of truth.

One of those “truths” hammered to all of us is of half the country is Democrat and the other half, Republican. That’s BS. Just take a look at this electoral map by county after the 2024 election:

The country is mostly red except for the big cities showing blue. There’s more freedom loving Americans than them.

Thank you for your prayers of all kinds, thank you for enlightening your fence-sitting friends and thank you for voting. But most importantly, thank God for His mercy on America!

My prayer was that this would be decided on election night. Praise the Lord!!

Feeling excited, but have a sense of dread about Election Day? I’m with you , but here are some facts to consider that may settle your concerns and provide confidence about the most important election of our lifetime.

Let’s face it, the 2020 Presidential Election left half the country with some PTSD. We went to bed with President Donald Trump in the lead and woke up with Joe Biden heading to victory after ballot counting shut downs in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan.

We’re not going into revisit all the details of that night any further, suffice to say election integrity questions were valid. Many Americans agreed with Trump’s charge the election was stolen, despite Democrats’ and media dismissals of the allegations as baseless.

In 2020, a global pandemic, replete with lockdowns and a summer of riots was a precursor to that election. Making a long story short, that led to the proliferation of mail-in ballots which many experts knew could open the door to election fraud.

That was then.

Today, voters are certainly not dealing with the same type of epic crises as in 2020. This is a definite positive in this election cycle.

Consider also, the Democrats’ candidate is the antithesis of democracy . Vice President Kamala Harris is the standard- bearer for the party without receiving a single vote.

Sure, she had an initial bounce, thanks to fawning media coverage portraying her as the female Barack Obama. Unfortunately for her reality has set in , and whatever surge she had at the beginning has collapsed.

What precipitated this fall? Simply put, Kamala’s disastrous interviews with the media , including 60 Minutes, Fox News and even CNN. The public has seen, in real time, her inability to answer even the most softball questions in a straightforward manner.

You can register this implosion by noting the changes in her messaging. Remember “joy, joy joy” at the beginning of her campaign? Well, that’s been ditched.

Now it’s “Trump is Hitler”, “Trump is a fascist” , “Trump is a threat to democracy”, “Trump will use the military to arrest his enemies”, “Trump will enact a nationwide abortion ban.” That’s been the message of her rallies in the last two weeks. That Kamala has gone negative is the sign of a flailing and desperate campaign.

Kamala , or most likely her handlers, have decided to gin up fear because her numbers have continued to dip with her message of empty platitudes, in lieu of concrete solutions. Now, she’s hoping voters will ignore her lack of a cohesive plan in hopes of scaring people to check the ballot for her. Is it working?

As of this writing, no.

AtlasIntel, the most accurate pollster in 2o2o, has Trump leading in all seven swing states. With that said, please take into account that things could change drastically on Election Day, :

Harris’ less than one point lead in Wisconsin and Michigan, according to RCP average, means the race is a dead heat. This does not bode well for Harris because her lead in these states has collapsed as Trump’s momentum is surging.

Republicans have crushed it this year with early voting, something the party has never done in the past. They’ve taken the Democrat tactic of banking a formidable lead going into Election Day and have dominated. Pollsters are saying they’ve never seen anything like this.

Just like they’ve never seen a Republican with such huge popularity among black men. Trump is especially popular with young black men who simply do not like Harris. This has Democrats panicking and even resulted in former President Obama scolding the “bruthas” for not supporting Harris, a woman of color.

These men , who’ve had enough of the Democrat plantation, are voting Trump . What’s the key reason for Trump’s popularity with black men? It’s illegal immigration, that’s made black men have enough of the Democrat plantation.

That, and the economy are the other differences between 2024 and 2020.The electorate is not the same as four years ago.

The country is seeing in real time the effects of the Biden/ Harris open borders policy. Americans know the stories of criminal migrants raping and killing young women and assaulting police officers.

Add to that ,voters are shocked that a Venezuelan gang has taken over three apartment complexes in Aurora , Colorado, in the UNITED STATES of AMERICA. This was certainly not the case 2020 or 2016.

Americans have also witnessed the lawfare by the Biden DOJ, corrupt state attorney generals and partisan judges, against Trump. Americans are disgusted that banana-republic tactics are taking place in a Constitutional republic.

Instead of destroying Trump, he has only grown stronger from Democrat attacks. This has endeared him to more voters than in 2016 and even 2020 because of his tenacity and grit. They see the love Trump has for America and how that love, and determination keeps him pressing on despite lawfare, a biased media and two assassination attempts.

And speaking of those failed attempts to kill Trump, the Butler , PA shooting left an indelible image of Trump’s courage, strength and love for the American people. To the left’s dismay, it also cemented Trump as an American icon.

What is more American than fighting on , despite the odds? That’s inspiring to a people who have been beaten down and ignored in the last four years.

That’s what’s known as an intangible,and Kamala lacks it. If anything, all she inspires is derision from fake accents:

The only symbol Kamala represents is that of a DEI hire who is simply in way over her head.

The media tells us this is a close race, a dead-heat. Can we really believe that from a media that lies to us? Why do conservatives believe the media lies on a daily basis , but give them the benefit of the doubt of truthfulness during an election cycle?

If anything , voters should assume any poll numbers from the national media are the result of their best efforts to oversample liberals. What does this mean?

It means the best these media pollsters could produce, with their under sampling of conservatives and oversampling of liberals is a dead-heat. No wonder the LA Times and the Washington Post and even the Teamsters have decided not to endorse Kamala or any other candidate.

Kamala is the first Democrat Presidential candidate in decades not to receive these endorsements. Think about that for a moment.

That’s a huge vote of no-confidence and speaks volumes . This wasn’t supposed to happen

You were supposed to disavow Trump after the lawsuits , the raid on Mar A Lago and the mughshot. You were supposed to throw him overboard after January 6 and the constant refrain of being a threat to democracy.

Instead, Trump is more popular than ever . Remember this as you vote today. Have confidence and have faith.

I truly believe Trump is where is right now because of the prayers of millions of Christians. Consider Isaiah

54:17:

No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their righteousness is from Me,”
Says the Lord.

Trump has taken every attack from the Democrats and turned it into a positive such as Biden calling MAGA, garbage. He’s a man of the people , the blue-collar billionaire who resonates with the working class.

Cast your vote today and pray. Take people to the polls if need be. Thank the Lord for His mighty hand of protection and for having mercy on America.

So, are you feeling excited, but have a sense of dread about Election Day? It’s totally normal, but do your best to ignore conjecture and focus only on the facts. But most importantly, do not sit out this election because of fear or laziness. We need President Trump.

Is it a sin for Christians to vote for the Democrat Party?

Here’s a controversial question that needs to be asked: Is it a sin for Christians to vote for the Democrat Party in its current form? I have an answer, but let me present my reasoning before declaring an opinion.

First , I don’t ask this question to be provocative or to point fingers in judgement.My brothers and sisters in Christ, this a query is made in love, not in condemnation. Believe it or not, this observation is also apolitical.

Of course, the Bible does not address voting specifically. It does so in a roundabout way (Deut. 1:13). However, scripture tells us, in unequivocal terms, what is sin. With that disclaimer, here we go.

Based on the biblical definitions of sin; which, by the way, are capital offenses to the Lord worthy of eternal punishment, there is no way to view the Democrat Party other than wicked.

Please don’t confuse my use of the word wicked with the musical or the soon to be released movie. No, the wicked we’re discussing here means morally very bad or evil.

For example, name the Democrats’ signature policy they defend with religious and fanatical zeal. If you guessed abortion, congratulations for paying attention.

What is it about abortion that has caused party leaders like Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer to threaten Supreme Court Justices that they “unleashed a whirlwind” for striking down Roe v Wade? Why do defenders of abortion vilify anyone who opposes the practice as an extremist?

From their rhetoric, it seems they’ve convinced themselves abortion is a sacred and fundamental right, more important than even free speech. And apparently , the party marches in lockstep when it comes to this signature policy.

Just ask yourself, when is the last time you heard a prominent Democrat break ranks and consistently denounce abortion? Yeah, that’s right; never.

They seem to have no guilt, no qualms about the sanctity of abortion. I believe it’s as the Bible puts it, their “consciences have been seared with a hot iron ( 1 Tim. 4:2)”

In other words, the party is wicked.

Why else would Democrats care little about the genital mutilation of children involved in this so-called medical procedure of gender reassignment surgery? They’re more concerned with cultivating a voting bloc rather than caring about the long-term spiritual , emotional and physical well being of children.

Democrats, please heed this warning. Scripture tells us God especially hates those who hurt children.

“If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.–Matt. 18-6 (NIV)

A millstone in the time of Christ weighed about 3000 pounds . So just imagine having one tied to someone’s neck and throwing it into the sea. We’re talking a rapid descent to the ocean floor, with death in a horrific manner,and Jesus said this would be better for them than facing God’s wrath?

Truly scary stuff with a frightening visual. Anyone reading this passage gets the message right away that children are precious to God and that anyone taking advantage of their trust and naïveté will face a terrible punishment from our LORD.

So based on Jesus’ vivid warning, shouldn’t Christians be wary of complicity with evil, by voting for a party that has no inherent desire to protect children, but instead, exploit them?

What is the Democrat Party for? It would seem its party leaders are dedicated only to their own power and affluence, no matter the cost to the country or tragically, to their souls

Based on their policies, Democrats are not only anti-children, they are also anti-God, anti-Christianity, anti-Constitution, anti- family, anti-masculinity, anti-femininity, anti-America, anti-flag, anti-liberty, anti-gun, anti-law, anti-law enforcement, anti-prosperity, anti-truth, anti-beauty, and anti-logic. One could strongly argue this is a party of psychopathic narcissists, who believe themselves above the laws–both temporal and eternal– we, the people, are subject to.

Should a Christian vote for a political party that not only has these values, but proudly parades them? Is it a sin to vote for the Democrat Party in its current form? I say, in boldness and certainty, yes.

Like rats leaving a sinking ship, “blue wall” Senate Democrats ditch Kamala and the LA Times refuses to endorse her for President. We’re still two weeks away and anything could happen, but right now this looks bad for the Dems.

Democrats running for the Senate in “blue wall” states that will be critical to determining the outcome of the 2024 election are running away from Vice President Harris, signaling that they are hoping to win over some of former President Trump’s voters to keep their seats.

And Democratic candidates in those states have been careful about criticizing Trump during the high-stakes debates. They have focused on policy and their own records without taking many — or any — shots against the Republican nominee.

In other words, these incumbents have seen the internal polling and have determined Kamala is poison. They don’t want their brand dragged down by campaigning with her.

Who are they embracing? Trump!

LOL! You can’t make this up .

The latest ads by Senators Bob Casey,( PA), Sherrod Brown (OH) and the very woke Tammy Baldwin (WI) , tout their policy associations with Trump. It’s called desperation.

And on top of all this, Can you believe the Los Angeles Times refuses to endorse Kamala? This is a huge blow to the Kamala/Walz campaign.

Published reports say the Times Editorial Board was ready to endorse Harris, but were overruled by owner Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong. This is the first time since 2004 The Times has not endorsed a (Democrat) presidential candidate.

Ouch! That has to leave a mark when the largest liberal newspaper in a Democrat controlled state doesn’t back the home leftist presidential candidate.

While this is good news, there is still two weeks left before the election. Two weeks is a long time in politics; so expect anything. Keep in mind, we still haven’t seen an October surprise by the Dems yet.

Don’t get complacent. Pray, pray and vote. Let’s do our part to get the vote out by driving those who need transportation to voting locations. Also , take your passion and use it to convince those fence sitters,(including even the occasional reasonable Democrat) why they need to cast their ballot for Trump.

Even with Kamala’s campaign imploding, we must keep the mindset of the underdog.

The more one learns about the level of wickedness entrenched in the levers of government, education, science, media and entertainment in Western Civilization, a sense of futility can set in. This begs a question for the God-fearing Christian: Is it time for imprecatory prayers?

An imprecation is invoking a curse of misfortune upon someone. But doesn’t that go against New Testament teaching about loving your enemies and turning the other cheek?

Yes, it does, but only if you invoke such prayers for personal reasons such as wishing evil upon people or vengeance. When we invoke these curses, we are to do so not against our personal enemies, but God’s enemies.

But aren’t our adversaries, God’s adversaries? Not necessarily.

In our pride, we could consider anyone who wrongs us , an enemy. When this happens, we are certainly not reacting in love. However, hating the evil works of those who mock God, now we’re getting somewhere.

God loves us, therefore the Christian loves God. God hates evil, therefore, the Christian hates evil. Anyone , or any entity that declares wickedness over God’s word and precepts, is an enemy of God, therefore, that person or entity is our enemy.

Get it?

Biblically, imprecatory psalms are the psalmists’ call to bring down destruction, calamity and God’s anger and judgement upon His enemies. Again, I say God’s enemies, not any individuals who have personally done injustice to us.

God’s enemies refers to any entity– be it a religious system , political ideology, scientific theory or whatever–that mocks , rejects or blasphemes the triune God: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. Invoking imprecatory prayers comes only after the enemies’ rejection of every call for repentance through our prayers and exhortation.

Invoking such prayers should only come as a last resort, not a first strike. Imprecatory prayers should only come after praying in God’s will and careful study of the Bible.

The major imprecatory Psalms are Psalms 5, 10, 17, 35, 58, 59, 69, 70, 79, 83, 109, 129, 137, and 140. At first reading, some of the curses could be perceived as harsh according to modern Christian sensibilities.

For instance , in Psalm 69:28 David prays his enemies “be blotted from book of the living,” seems contradictory to Jesus commanding we love our enemies and pray for them that persecute you, (Matthew 5:44).” Jesus is talking about our personal relationships with individuals who have wronged us. On the other hand, if a person preaches an ideology sparking division or other harm to the church body, that person is an enemy of God.

In Psalm 137, the psalmist calls for God to dash the babies of the Edomites against the rocks. A shocking image, if read only on its own.

However, within the context of Psalm 137, the psalmist is asking for God’s justice to repay the evil committed against the Israelites, His covenant people. In other words, it was highly likely that among the atrocities the Edomites committed against Israel, was dashing Hebrew babies against the rocks.

The temptation for modern Christians is to cherry pick the Psalms they like while dismissing uncomfortable ones, like the imprecatory Psalms, as irrelevant. This , at best, is a questionable practice .

Imprecations are not merely Old Testament practice, but also prevalent in the New Testament. Consider that Jesus quoted Psalm 69 in two instances (John 2:17; 15:25).

The Apostle, Paul, also issued an imprecation when he urged believers to overcome evil with good (Romans 12:20-21):

” To the contrary, ‘if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.’ Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”—Romans 12:20-21 (ESV)

Paul’s imprecation of “hot coals” on your enemy’s head was a quote from Proverbs 25:22 . The metaphor , of course, signifies judgement.

Even the prayer of “Come, Lord Jesus” is an imprecation. With the call for Jesus’ return is the implication of final judgement of God’s enemies.

This comes from a longing for God’s justice to punish evil. We are repulsed by the spirit of lawlessness due to the regeneration of our hearts by Christ.

Why the inherent disgust? It’s because this lawless spirit originates from none other than the evil one, the devil.

With this in mind, may we understand that the conflict is spiritual. In other words, we are engaged in spiritual warfare.

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.– Ephesians 6:12-15 (ESV)

Read the imprecatory Psalms listed . Study them ; meditate and pray whatever Psalm speaks to your heart, back to God. Praying God’s word back to Him are the most powerful and effective prayers.

Yes, we are to love our enemies. But love doesn’t come at the expense of God’s justice toward the spiritual forces of darkness and their minions here in the world.

So, is it time for imprecatory prayers against the unrepentant, unregenerate enemies of God? I say yes. America is in dire straits, spiritually and politically, therefore, imprecatory prayers are desperately needed for this nation.

I suggest reading and praying each of the listed imprecatory Psalms, daily. Take a psalm each day and when you have completed the list, start the process again. If you like , replace the pronoun, “I” with “we” or “our” in your prayers of the psalms.

I plan on repeating this cycle until the election and beyond. I hope you will do so as well. For our enemy is not only the Democrat Party or RINO’s, but a satanic ideology that has entrenched itself in every institution in this nation.

This is spiritual, people; therefore, only God can restore this nation. We must seek His help through diligent prayer.

What have we got to lose? Well…everything, actually.

We will pray

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12 (NIV)

I reflected upon the tenacity of Winston Churchill in a previous post and why such leadership is needed now in America.

Churchill gave many powerful speeches to galvanize the British during World War II, but one of his most famous is his “We will fight on the beaches,” or “Never Surrender,” speech, delivered on June 4, 1940″ This speech set the tone of British resistance to Nazi Germany throughout the rest of the war.

Since the need for prayer has been weighing on my heart , I thought it would be interesting to continue this call for personal and national prayer in the tone of Churchill’s legendary address . Christians must stand in Christ and resist the darkness engulfing America.

First, my post…

I have faith and confidence that if all God-fearing Christians do their duty, if prayer isn’t neglected, we shall prove our worthiness to defend this nation, we shall resolve to defend our home, America, to stand in Christ and resist this onslaught of spiritual war, and to hold against the peril of marxism, indefinitely .

I have, myself, full confidence that if all do their duty as Bible-believing Christians, if God’s will is sought, and trust in Him is strengthened through faith, we shall prove ourselves to spiritually defend our land of the free and the home of the brave, to ride out the onslaught of spiritual war , and to conquer the menace of tyranny, in Jesus’ name. At this time, this is all we can do. That is the resolve of our King of Kings and Lord of lords’ disciples. This is God’s will, His people seeking Him in prayer in their cause and need, and in their need will defend to the death the gospel and this land given as to us by a loving and Holy God. The Kingdom of heaven linked with repentant man for His glory, and His alone. Even though large institutions of America and Western Civilization have fallen or may fall into the grip of the enemy and the repugnant mechanism of satanic rule, we shall not grow weary and faint.

We shall press in as necessary, we will pray in America ,

we will pray while on rivers and lakes,

we will pray with authority in the air,

we shall defend the nation according to our God-given talents,

we will pray in our cars,

we will pray in our homes,

we will pray in our churches and synagogues,

we will pray in the mountains and deserts;

we will never quit and even if this country were, or a large part of it surrendered to the devil, then our brothers and sisters beyond the oceans , armed with the Holy Spirit and guarded by angels, would continue the struggle, until, in God’s perfect timing, the Gospel of Jesus , in all its glory brings us into eternity , resurrected as new creations in Christ.

I cannot over-emphasize the dire need for prayer in these perilous times in America and Western Civilization. It is dereliction of duty not to do so

Now, here’s the part of Churchill’s famous speech I honored…
