You’ve no doubt been following the President Trump and President Zelensky blow-up. I’m not going to waste time rehashing it. What I will say is this what transparency looks like.
Americans got to witness up close and personal President Trump and Vice President JD Vance standing up for the people and the true President Volodymyr Zelensky , minus the previous media narrative.
For years, we’ve heard the narrative of Ukraine standing against Vladimir Putin-led Russia as a fight for Democracy and Zelensky as the heroic wartime president . The media and Biden Administration incessantly reminded us how important it was for America to keep sending money and weapons to defend Ukraine.
The same Zelensky arrived in Washington for what Trump assumed was an agreement for American access to Ukraine’s rare earth minerals. as a precursor to a ceasefire and peace with Russia. Instead, Zelensky torpedoed the deal with new requirements causing this now famous back and forth between Trump, Vance and Zelensky cued :
Sure, the heated discussion was like watching a traffic accident playing out, but the clarity is good for the American people. People not only got to see the closed-door discussions usually hidden from the public, they also got to see the real Zelensky as a petulant little man unconcerned with peace.
Trump has blown-up the media-manufactured Zelensky with his throwing him out of the White House. The media is trying their best to portray Trump and Vance as the bully bad guys, but the public isn’t falling for it. Yes, this is what transparency looks like.
