Trump calls out LA Mayor Karen Bass over wildfire recovery delays

This is why President Trump is a leader and Democrats are profiles in failure. Trump calls out LA Mayor Karen Bass over wildfire recovery delays during a live press conference.

In her best liberalese, Bass touted how city and county officials are partnering up to streamline the bureaucracy for desperate homeowners. “We’re doing everything we can , slashing regulations…so you can get rebuilding asap. ”

Bass cited hazardous materials concern as a delay for clearing the lots. That’s code for hazardous waste/environmental cleanup, which means companies bidding, leading to longer delays. Trump, because he’s a builder, immediately called B.S. Watch:

So what is the timeline Mayor Bass? Is it 18 months , six months or what? Trump told Bass and the press, several people told him rebuilding could not start for 18 months, which she vehemently denied.

Watch the video again . Did you notice how Mayor Bass left herself wiggle room with her answers not committing to definite timeline?

She then gives the answer that justifies liberal mission creep and every extra added expense: “We’re going to move as fast as we can, but we want you to be safe.”

Funny how this worry for “safety” comes after revelations of poor forest mitigation, lack of controlled burns and making sure reservoirs and fire hydrants were filled. Now safety is a concern when people are itching to clean up and begin the rebuilding process?

That call for safety is how liberalism infantilizes people and takes away their inborn desire for self-reliance and self-sufficiency. Trump calling for the common sense solution of government getting out of the way is a sharp contrast to the Democrat mantra of government will take care of you.

Paganism the cause of So Cal wildfires?

Was paganism the cause of the So Cal wildfires? A valid question, but with an obvious answer to anyone spiritually discerned.

As of this writing, the Palisades fire and Eaton Fires stand at 31 and 65 percent containment, respectively. There have been 27 deaths , nearly 40 thousand acres burned and nearly 13 thousand structures burned or damaged. The Hurst, and Kenneth fires are 100 percent contained, while the Auto Fire is 85 percent contained.

Its widely accepted government and bureaucratic failure increased the level of destruction. However, it’s also easy to discern paganism played a vital role in this disaster.

Check out this definition of paganism and tell me how this doesn’t apply to California , if not national Democrat politics.

Paganism is an ancient belief system that has been around for thousands of years. It is a polytheistic religion that is based on the worship of nature and the cycles of the natural world. Pagans believe in the interconnectedness of all things and strive to live in harmony with the natural world.

Paganism is an umbrella term used to describe a diverse set of spiritual and religious beliefs that are based on the worship of nature and the Earth. It is a broad term that encompasses many different belief systems, including Wicca, Druidry, Asatru, and other forms of polytheism.

What can we glean from this ?

Pagans worship the creation and not the Creator, and so do most liberals. Nature is divine, (not God) and the source of all life according to pagans and many liberals. Finally, pagans and liberals share the belief that human life is one with nature , interconnected with trees, plants, and animals.

Most notably, pagans practice polytheism, a belief in multiple gods rather than one Supreme Being. Each culture’s gods are equally divine and no culture is better than another. This appears to be the Democrat foundation of multiculturalism as well as its denigration of Christianity.

Reading between the lines, the only laws and creeds that matter to pagans are those that protect nature and the planet. Inherent in this protection, idolatry.

Because of paganism, millions of acre feet of water are diverted from cities and agriculture into the ocean; all to save the Delta Smelt. And thanks to paganism, forests are overgrown and hillsides full of dried brush. This, because clearing these areas are not a priority to Democrat officials who demonstrate, by their actions, that nature should grow unchecked.

While it’s obvious worshipping nature, or the planet, is idolatry, so is worshipping race, gender, sexual orientation and even, abortion. You can see where this is going.

California has had a Democrat supermajority for over a decade. Or you can put it another way, California has had a pagan supermajority for over a decade.

Leftist/pagan policies have cheapened the sanctity of life, enabled lawlessness, driven up energy prices, gas prices and of course, taxes because the priority is amassing power, not serving the people.

At the same time, the state has advertised itself as an abortion destination and sanctuary state, and designated (until recently) shoplifting as low-priority crime. A culture of death, and lawlessness, are all part of paganism.

The pagans in charge are even trying to force electric vehicles on the public; going so far as to ban the sale of gas vehicles in California come 2035. All of this to lord over people’s lives under the guise of reducing so-called green house gases, a.k.a carbon dioxide.

Thanks to paganism, the cost of living in California is the highest of all 5o states despite being the wealthiest of state of the union. Why? Planet worship means no new power plants, the destruction of dams and little to no energy exploration.

That’s part of the problem. The other part is governments burdening taxpayers to foot the bill for housing, feeding , providing health and welfare benefits to illegal immigrants and paying for the homeless. As I have written previously, California has spent nearly 25 billion dollars on the homeless. Are you seeing a pattern here?

Pagans do not care about people, they care only for whatever keeps the empowered and wealthy. They see themselves as ruling rather than serving the people.

By its very nature, paganism is anti-God , therefore it cannot competently govern. It’s plainly stated in the in Proverbs 9:10 (NKJV):

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

California’s Democrat-dominated politics are living examples what happens when there is no fear of God: wisdom is far from their decisions and therefore, chaos ensues.

California has wildfires literally every year. It’s not like politicians do not see them coming. Yet, the state, rather than clearing brush and other dead vegetation, allows it to grow unchecked. This speaks to willful ignorance, incompetence, and negligence.

Pagans are simply ill-equipped to run a state or city and are failures when disasters hit. The problem is their policies may exacerbate the damage of any disaster.

Is paganism the cause of So Cal wildfires? The preponderance of evidence surely lies in the affirmative.

As California goes…

There’s an old saying “As California goes…so goes the rest of the nation.” If that’s true, let’s hope that Californians’ realization of the failures of DEI and the Green New Deal as the cause of these devastating wildfires will spread to the rest of America’s blue states.

You paying attention New Yorkers, Illinoisans, New Jerseyites, , Minnesotans, Washingtonians, Oregonians, and Marylanders? California is the epicenter and laboratory for liberalism and these wildfires have revealed the fecklessness of these policies for all to see.

You know the players: Gavin Newsom the smarmy, greasy-haired governor prioritizing a fish over people by diverting million of cubic feet of water from farmers and cities;

Governor Gavin Newsom

Karen Bass, the awol Los Angeles Mayor out of the country at the start of the fires ,later revealed to have slashed the fire department’s budget;

L.A. Mayor Karen Bass

Kristin Crowley, the first ever female and lesbian L.A. City Fire Chief on record stating her goal for the department is promoting diversity (which really means less white men) and a Janisse Quinones, Department of Water and Power head, making a $750 thousand a year salary who couldn’t even do her basic job of keep the reservoirs filled with water.

A colossal storm of arrogance and incompetence. Watching these officials, has there ever been a more uninspiring bunch? These profiles in failure have even eclipsed even the Joe Biden Administration in their ineptitude.

This is what you get with true believers of cultural Marxism, who prioritize power over serving the people: major disaster.

At least 24 deaths, more than 10 thousand homes and structures damaged or destroyed and nearly 40 thousand acres burned in the Palisades, Eaton, Kenneth and Hurst fires. What’s tragic is this death and damage could have been lessened.

It’s because of environmentalist policies that California has not engaged in wildfire mitigation in decades. They didn’t want to disturb the delicate balance of nature by clearing brush, dead vegetation and undergrowth. This, despite having wildfires every year.

Utter madness!

In fact, Newsom cut $100 million from fire prevention in the 2o24-2025 budget leading up to these fires. However, California spent $24 billion, yes billion , on homelessness in five years.

Mayor Bass cut the Fire Department’s budget by nearly $18 million this year . And get this, she originally wanted to cut the budget by $23 million! In a land of wildfires, public safety is the last thing on minds of these “leaders.” Now, the fires are illuminating California’s anti-human policies, where a fish and plants are more important than keeping taxpayers safe.

By the way, check out this latest video in which an inappropriately smiling Bass attempts to comfort “Angelinos” only to come off as weirdly smug .

What’s a shame is how entrenched the liberal mindset has become in California’s major cities. When you get right down to it, a majority of voters willingly elected this mayor and governor.

Keep in mind, the problem does not lie solely only these two heads of state and city, respectively. California’s State Legislature and the Los Angeles City Council share the same values as Governor Newsom and Mayor Bass.

Even if these two were to both resign, or get recalled by the voters, they’re only the faces of the endemic failure of California liberal politics. This is what the people need to realize and keep in mind from now on with casting their vote in local elections.

Hope you’re paying attention blue state Dems. The policies of your radical Democrat leaders are also setting you up for disaster. Remember, as California goes… so goes the rest of the nation.

Fires of judgment

Behold, they shall be as stubble,
The fire shall burn them;
They shall not deliver themselves
From the power of the flame;
It shall not be a coal to be warmed by,
Nor a fire to sit before!– Isaiah 47:14 (NKJV
)

The fires of judgment continue to rage in Southern California. Besides apocalyptic level destruction and death, the blaze is revealing the incompetence of leadership on the state and local level.

Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, you two are an absolute disgrace. You have failed your state , your city and every constituent affected by these wildfires.

You can both try to blame this devastation on climate change all you want, but even liberals’ eyes are now opening to the fecklessness of Democrat rule in California. Both of you are profiles in failure.

What’s been Newsom’s mission of late? Oh yeah, Trump-proofing California.

Hey governor, how about placing the same effort into fire-proofing burn areas? You know, like ,creating task forces to clear the brush and undergrowth. Additionally, you could have issued public service announcements highlighting of the importance of homeowners fire-proofing their properties.

Imagine if you did those things and came up with innovations for storing the millions of cubic feet of water from snowmelt and rain-runoff instead of letting it flow to the ocean? Instead you serve your globalist, environmentalist masters by diverting water from the people, farmers and cities; all this, supposedly, for saving some bait-fish known as the Delta Smelt .

Yeah, prior to California’s most devastating wildfire, I’m sure many of those very rich (and liberal) homeowners in Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Altadena, Hollywood and Calabasas , unquestioningly believed your BS about Trump being the biggest existential threat to California and America.

But I got news for you, governor. I’m willing to bet that after losing everything they’re going to look at you , your policies and every syllable you say in an entirely different light. We’re talking red-pilling.

Under your watch, California has worsened as a state. Homelessness is rampant, crime is skyrocketing, people and businesses (that is taxpayers ) are leaving the state in droves.

Actually, I stand corrected, Newsom. One business your policies have benefitted is U-haul which has had record profits thanks to people getting the hell out of California.

Which brings me to Mayor Bass , what on earth were you doing in Africa as your city burned? You should have been on the first jet back to California when you got word of the potential seriousness of these Santa Ana winds and the fire danger they posed.

When you finally returned after the initial devastation, it was deer in headlights as you then refused to answer a reporter’s questions regarding your competence?!

Mayor, your primary responsibility is to provide leadership, which means the buck stops with you. That’s your job!

How ironic those Pacific Palisades fire hydrants will become symbolic of yours and Newsom’s leadership: empty. But what else can we expect from leaders focused on DEI rather than taxpayers?

DEI breeds incompetence because when any of these ideologues are elected to leadership, it’s due to identity , not ability.

LA City Fire Chief Kristin Crowley’ made history being the first female and LGBTQ Fire Chief. But was her first leadership challenge ensuring the reservoirs were filled so fire hydrants can work? No it was increasing diversity in the LA City Fire Department by hiring more women.

Bass is the first black female ever elected mayor, yet she recently slashed the fire department’s budget by nearly $20 million, prioritizing the homeless. And of course, Pacific Palisades hydrants went dry under the watch of Janisse Quinones, the first Latina to lead the LA Department of Water and Power (LADWP).

As of this writing, the fires of judgment continue as tens of thousands of people have been evacuated, thousands of structures destroyed and at least 10 people dead. Winds are forecasted to continue off and on through the weekend.

Pray for California and pray God will use these fires to burn the scales from people’s eyes regarding the state’s dangerously inept Democrat leadership.
